Growing up as a local resident in the Northern Virginia area, Dr. Chris Grivas first developed an interest in diagnosing and treating sports injuries at an early age through his active lifestyle and love of sports. After graduating from Westfield High School, he went on to study health sciences at James Madison University and then chiropractic medicine in New York. He then received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and his master’s degree in clinical anatomy and physiology instruction from Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College).
In 2017, after completing his education, Dr. Grivas moved back to the Northern Virginia area where he practiced as a chiropractor for several years before creating Fortify Chiropractic and Sports Rehab. During this time, he was able to treat patients of all ages and athletic levels including professional athletes from the Washington Commanders, D.C. United Soccer Club and the XFL Washington Defenders. As a result, Dr. Grivas developed multiple specialities and techniques to treat a wide range of conditions to further benefit all his patients.
Additionally, Dr. Grivas pursued a specialty in prenatal chiropractic, a second passion of his. He became certified in the Webster Technique to treat expectant mothers, and become an extra support to his patients during pregnancy.
He currently resides locally in Chantilly where he enjoys an active life with his wife, infant son and puppy.
